Founder and President Alfred Stimpfl
(Born 28.07.1941)

Fredi’s career in insurance began in 1962, in 1964 he became an independent insurance agent.
In 1973 he then founded South Tyrol’s first insurance broker, Assiconsult Ltd.

By virtue of the enthusiasm for his profession he becomes a visiting lecturer, initially delivering courses at IRSA, later at the Economic Institute of the affiliated university structures of Verona, Padova, Venice, Udine & Trieste.

It was in 1987 when the vision of an international network occurred to him and other European colleagues to provide sophisticated cross-border service to multinational businesses: the seal was set on the launch of global network IBA ((In 2009 becomes UNIBA). Assiconsult is an original member and the partner for Italy. Alfred also plays an active role with the domestic professional organisation AIBA. He has been board member and regional deputy for north-eastern Italy for more than 15 years now. Moving the head offices to the newly built Trade Center at the beginning of 2003 ranks amongst the highlights of his long standing career.

In private life Fredi is an ambitious sportsman: biker, runner, skier and surfer. As an allrounder he competed in nearly all marathon races of this planet. Last but not least, Fredi gets a kick out of gourmet food and quality wine.

C.E.O. Gregor Stimpfl
(Born 04.08.1964 )

Alfred's son Gregor joins the firm after several years of practical training abroad. He is co-founder of IBA network and has served on the Board of Directors from 2005 to 2007 in charge of the European market development. In 1999 he extends the business to Milan, the branch office there mainly focussing on the trade credit market. In 2000 Gregor subscribes to a further global network of brokers operating in the credit insurance line, ICBA.

He set the course to extend the reach of Assiconsult even further and in 2006 the company took over a business portfolio in Innsbruck, Austria.

Outside his professional commitments, he has always forged ties with the local bodies on industry and trade, forming part of several committees.

Gregor is a devoted family father and just like Fredi, sporting helps balance him out. He is a passionate offshore sailor.

M.O.B. Bernhard D’Incau
Born 17.5.1956

Bernhard D’Incau started off with Assiconsult in 1979. He became assistant of the executive after 3 years. In 1985 he is appointed company secretary and in 1992 member of the board.

Bernhard does not necessarily despise elaborate dinners, is fond of traveling and enjoys long rides on his motor-bike.
