What to do if you get involved in an accident? First thing: keep your head! If available, use the European Accident Statement! Otherwise exchange names with the other parties involved, also phone number addresses, even mail, everything that is going to help you get in contact in the future. You also need to write down the insurance company name and policy number, the other person’s car details, and the damage to the car that resulted from the collision. If you have a camera, photograph the layout of the accident otherwise take notes as to the road and lighting conditions, scene and circumstances leading up to the incident. If there are any witnesses, write down their details and inform the police. Don't delay reporting the accident - even if you do not intend to make a claim. Contact us for advice - our staff has an in-depth knowledge of claim procedures. They will help to make the settlement quicker and easier for you.
